The ALTANA Cultural Foundation gGmbH based in Bad Homburg and the Foundation Nantesbuch gGmbH, founded in Munich in 2012, are merging. In this manner, the founder of both, the entrepreneur Susanne Klatten, is able to bundle her many activities on behalf of the arts, nature and cultural education at the two locations Bad Homburg and Munich under one organizational roof. The application to register the merger in both registers of companies has been filed.
In the future, the responsible organizer for programming and education activities in Hessen and Bavaria will be the Foundation Nantesbuch. The various educational offers of the ALTANA Cultural Foundation will be continued in essence by the Foundation Nantesbuch, and complemented during the coming years by further offers in the fields of education and further education. The programme CultureDayYear, a format propagating cultural education in schools, and the degree course “Cultural Education in Schools” in cooperation with the Philipps University Marburg will be developed further.
The Museum Sinclair-Haus in Bad Homburg with its exhibitions, exhibition-related events and cultural education offers remains unchanged as an important and independent cultural institution. It has enjoyed special attention not only in the Rhine-Main region, but also throughout Germany for many years.
