August 2020

We are delighted to welcome you back – especially during times of the coronavirus pandemic – from September 13 onwards, when the exhibition ”What is Nature?“ opens.

Please note the following before your visit:

Current Opening Hours

Saturday, Sunday and holidays 1 – 6 pm
Closed on Mondays and on December 24 and 31

Will you require a facemask?

Yes, facemasks must be worn in all spaces of the Museum. You may bring your own facemask or buy a disposable mask at the Museum’s ticket office.

Are there admission rules?

Yes, only a limited amount of persons may be present in the Museum at the same time.

How do admissions work?

1. Outside the entrance, you will find a basket with coloured clothes-pins. If the basket is empty, please wait inside the courtyard until a person leaves the Museum and a clothes-pin becomes available. Please keep 1.5 metres distance here as well.

2. Disinfect your hands and the clothes-pin with the spray provided.

3. Attach the clothes-pin to your clothing so it is easily visible.

4. After completing your visit, please disinfect the clothes-pin and replace it in the basket.

Inside the Museum

Tickets can be purchased at the Museum’s ticket office. Please try to pay using an EC debit card, avoiding cash whenever possible.

A distancing rule of at least 1.5 metres applies inside the Museum. Please make sure to keep this distance. Please wait at narrow passages and stairways until they are free. Please pay attention so as not to form groups. Liquids are not permitted inside the exhibition spaces. This also applies to hand disinfectants. Please comply with sneezing and coughing etiquette.

Inside the Studio

The same distancing and hygiene rules apply in the Museum and to all events in the Studio. Due to the nature of the space, only a limited number of persons can work simultaneously inside the Studio.

Are there guided tours / events?

Starting on September 13, we once again offer guided tours as well as an accompanying and an education programme. New formats as well as a digital array of events invite you to look, wonder and listen. Information will be provided from September 1 on our homepage: www.museum-sinclair-haus.com
