An Afternoon about Climate Change and Biodiversity
Friday, September 20, 5-9 pm
Moderator: Regina Oehler, science journalist and editor
“Fridays for Future” – all over the world, student protests are rousing society from its slumber. They demand that politicians and each of us take rapid action, for the next generation’s future has long begun. We open the Museum Sinclair-Haus on this Friday from 5 pm onwards to host a discussion forum: scientists, artists, a beekeeper and a student representative talk about climate protection and biodiversity. What has to change quickly, and what can each and every one of us contribute to protecting nature?
The panel includes: Dr. Wolfgang H. O. Dorow, Project Coordinator Hessian Nature Forest Reservation, Senckenberg Gesellschaft für Naturforschung; Lea Grebe, Artist; Prof. Dr. Bernd Grünewald, Neurobiologist and Director of the Institute for Beekeeping in Oberursel; Paul Harder, City Student Council of Frankfurt; Andreas Kramer, Beekeeper; Manuel Schweiger, Wilderness Consultant of the Zoologischen Gesellschaft Frankfurt; Maximilian Prüfer, Artist.
