Guided tour with Dr. Stefan Scholz, Catholic Academy Rabanus Maurus, Frankfurt
Human individuality is becoming more and more differentiated. In inverse proportion, humans are crowding out the diversity of species, especially insects. Their decimation raises the question whether human life will even be possible in the future. By observing and sympathizing with the complex structures of these animals through art, the viewer develops a sense for the beauty and fragility of all life. Through philosophical reflection upon the art exhibited, this wandering seeks to identify a human self-concept which allows both humans and other species to survive.
