With Yoko Tawada and Bianca Schwarz (hr2-kultur)
In the collection of essays “Überseezungen” (literally, “Overseas Tongues”, but also a pun on the German term for translations, Übersetzungen), the Japanese author Yoko Tawada tells of the mixing and confusion of languages, of glimpses and words cast throughout the world, of worldwide communication which creates connections, mistakes and new perspectives. In conversation with Bianca Schwarz, Yoko Tawada introduces her book “Überseezungen” (in German).
Yoko Tawada lives in Berlin and was awarded the American National Book Award in 2018.
Fee: 9 €
